MINI STOCK RULES
IF THESE RULES DON’T SAY YOU CAN, THEN YOU CAN’T
1.BODY
Two or four door sedan body.
Aftermarket body optional
Compact cars only. No Front Wheel Drive- No Rear Engine cars
Doors must be strapped, chained or welded shut. No skirting of body-Spoilers ok, not to exceed 6"
Plastic nosepieces are allowed.
Fenders may be cut for tire clearance but must maintain a stock configuration,
All flammable materials must be removed.
Firewalls must be stock and stock location. No bending or cutting. Gas tank compartment must be completely closed from the driver’s compartment.
2. ROLL CAGE
All cars must have a minimum six (6) point roll cage.
All cars must have at least three (3) door bars on drivers side.
Doors bars must be sufficiently gusseted and tied to the car at the bottom.
Seat must be mounted to the roll cage and be on the left side of car, must use aluminum racing seat mounted no farther back than rear of front door.
No tube frame cars.
3. BUMPERS
Bumper ends must tie into fender and quarter panels. No
cowcatchers. MAXIMUM 2” ROUND
TUBING ONLY
4. NERF BARS
Nerf bars must be flush with body. No blunt or sharp edges.
Nerf bars must be 1” x 2” rectangle or 1” square only.
5. ENGINE
In line four cylinder ( carburetor type only ). No rotary motors.
Ford must be 2.3 or 2300cc no larger.
Toyota must be 22R or 2200cc no larger.
Stock bore and stroke, can bore up to .60 over.
NO ALUMINUM HEADS ALLOWED EXCEPT FOR TOYOTA. (see weight rule)
NO STROKER MOTORS.
Must run stock appearing rods and cranks. Long rods ok.
May run aftermarket cam but cannot exceed .525 lift measured at retainer.
NO ROLLER CAMSHAFTS
Two (2) valves per cylinder maximum.
Flat top or dish pistons only.
Engine must be in stock location.
Must use stock head, intake and exhaust manifold,
NO PORTING,
POLISHING, OR GRINDING ANYTIME, ANYWHERE ON HEADS OR MANIFOLDS
HEADERS ok/ if headers - must run muffler
Stock or MSD Ignition OK
No crank triggers.
1” inspection hole in oil pan recommended. If no inspection hole pan must be removed at track.
6. CARBURETOR
Two (2) barrel maximum. No fuel injection. Holley 500 maximum CFM. One (1”) spacer ok.
7. CLUTCH
Stock clutch and pressure plate OK.
Steel stock appearing flywheel only
Mini Clutch OK
8. TRANSMISSION
Standard or automatic transmissions are allowed, must have two (2) forward gears and one (1) reverse. Must be stock.
9. REAR ENDS
Stock, four-lug rear end. Locking spider gears are optional.
No Panhard Bars allowed.
10. SUSPENSION
Front and rear suspension must be stock appearing, but may be re-inforced.
One shock per wheel. Mounting bracket must remain in stock location. No weight jacks or adjustable leaf spring shackles.
11. TIRES / WHEELS
No mud or snow tires. No studded tires. Tires must be DOT approved street tires. No racing tires. Tires must have a nine –inch cross section maximum width. GO-NO-GO gauge will be used to check. Max cross section ( 9 ) inches wide.
NO RECAPS.
Must have 3 working brakes
Can shut off right front but cannot be in drivers compartment
No brake bias
12. RADIATOR
Only one (1) radiator is allowed and must be centered in
front of car.
13.
One (1) 12 volt automotive battery allowed per car.
The battery must be securely fastened.
14. FUEL AND FUEL TANK
Pump gas only. No additives
Racing fuel cell is required, fuel cell must be vented and have ball type roll over valve.
15. WEIGHT LIMIT
Minimum weight, including driver, is 2,250
pounds.
16. SEAT BELT AND SHOULDER HARNESS
Competition type 5 point 3” belt and shoulder harness must be attached to the frame and cage in a safe and secure manner.
17. HELMETS
Approved racing helmets full face snell 2000.
18. FIRE SUITS
Fire suits and fire resistant gloves ( Nomax or equivalent) are mandatory.
19. NUMBERS
A minimum of twelve inches high. Numbers must be 6” inches on the right front corner of the windshield. NO LETTERS, NO METALLIC NUMBERS. If we can’t read it, we can’t score it..
20. ROUGH DRIVING
If you get two (2) black flags at any point in the season, it will be a two (2) week suspension.
21. All tech will be done at the track by the track officials. The officials decision will be final.
ALL RACER’S MUST HAVE A WORKING RECEIVER BEFORE ENTERING TRACK. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR RECEIVER, GO TO THE PIT STEWART AND WE CAN DO A RADIO CHECK. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

These rules have been made for easy tech to insure that everyone is running with the same advantage and still at a highly competitive rate.
Any find of illegal parts can be cause to lose ALL points plus two (2) race event suspension.
